Leigh Lihou

Leigh came to yoga during a challenging period in her life, initially seeking physical strength and emotional steadiness. What began as support soon became a deeper journey. Through consistent practice, yoga and meditation offered her a sense of calm, resilience, and focus, helping her rebuild confidence and self-belief.

In 2018, Leigh completed her 200-hour teacher training in Ashtanga Vinyasa and Rocket with The Yoga People. Since then, she has continued to deepen her studies, completing Level 1 Yin Yoga and Meridian Massage Foundation training with The Wellbeing Yoga School, alongside ongoing personal practice.

Her teaching style is relaxed, welcoming, and quietly strong. Rooted in Ashtanga Vinyasa, Leigh’s classes blend steady, breath-led movement with strength, mobility, and mindful awareness. She creates a supportive environment where students feel comfortable at any level, while gently encouraging exploration and self-trust.

Alongside yoga, Leigh is a Level 3 Personal Trainer and a Reiki Level 2 practitioner, with a love of Qigong and Tibetan singing bowls. She often brings subtle grounding and energy work into Savasana, offering students space to fully rest and leave feeling calm, balanced, and supported.

At the heart of Leigh’s teaching is the belief that yoga is not about perfection or performance, but about building strength, resilience, and trust from the inside out. Her intention is simple: to help students feel strong, capable, steady, and more at home in themselves.
