Who we are?
Dragonfly began with a simple idea: that Yoga can be a force for good.
Founded in 2016 by sports coach and physiotherapist Mark Lancaster, Dragonfly was created as a community-led yoga space with a deeper purpose. From the very beginning, we were set up to support Gmax Trackstars Athletics Academy, an award-winning charity helping young people, often from disadvantaged backgrounds to access sport, confidence and opportunity.
Apart from essential running costs, every penny of profit from Dragonfly goes back into the charity. So each class, each breath, each moment on the mat quietly helps support young athletes on their journey.
This way of working is rooted in the heart of yoga itself, in ideas of service, connection, compassion and shared wellbeing. Yoga, after all, isn’t just about what we do for ourselves, but how we show up in the world.
Dragonfly isn’t a slick, corporate studio. It’s a warm, welcoming space built around community, care and intention. A place where experienced, thoughtful teachers create inclusive classes, and where people come not just to move, but to belong.
Practising here means looking after yourself, whilst also being part of something bigger.
That’s what makes us different..
