Tanmoy Banerjee

Yoga has been part of Tanmoy’s life for as long as he can remember. He began learning with his teacher at the age of eight and, after exploring many styles — and experiencing first-hand how yoga can support healing and recovery — went on to complete his teacher training with the very same teacher.

Tanmoy has since taught Vinyasa and Ashtanga-inspired classes across London, bringing over 20 years of personal practice into his teaching. His classes are thoughtfully adapted to the people in front of him, whether the focus is building strength and mobility, finding space to breathe and reset, or deepening an understanding of yoga beyond the physical postures.

Rooted in the eight limbs of yoga, Tanmoy’s teaching blends clear guidance, intelligent sequencing and steady encouragement. He invites students to explore what they’re capable of, commit to the process, and make meaningful progress over time.
