Sarah Cannon
Sarah began practising yoga in 2005 while studying Human Ecology in Edinburgh, where it became a vital source of steadiness and support in her life. Her curiosity and devotion to the practice have taken her on many explorations in both the UK and India, eventually leading her to qualify as a Kundalini Yoga teacher in 2017 with Guru Dharam and Darryl O'Keefe. She remains deeply grateful to the many teachers she has learned from along the way.
Yoga has been transformational for Sarah, helping her cultivate greater calm, strength and trust in her body. These qualities became especially meaningful during pregnancy and birth and continue to shape the compassionate, grounded way she teaches. Alongside her yoga practice, Sarah works as a birth doula, supporting women to access their innate resilience, creativity and self-trust through pregnancy and motherhood.
Sarah teaches at Dragonfly Yoga Studios, where her Breath Work and Nervous System Regulation classes offer a powerful yet accessible practice combining movement, breathwork, meditation and sound. Sessions are structured but flexible, suitable for all levels, and often include somatic practices alongside carefully chosen music or mantra. Students are encouraged to move at their own pace, guided by breath and inner awareness.
Known for her calm, intuitive and nurturing presence, Sarah creates a warm and inclusive atmosphere where students feel supported and seen. Her classes balance strength and softness, offering a steady space to reconnect, find clarity and cultivate inner peace, confidence and vitality.
