I was blown away by my first kundalini yoga class, I was moved and knew whatever happened was more than just physical; I needed to know what happened. Week after week I felt driven to attend classes, each week something would happen and whatever that was stayed with me days after the class. In 2008 I completed my Kundalini yoga teacher training with the international school, Amirt Nam Sarovar and starting teaching January 2010 having left my full time job December 2009. I hold Level I teaching diploma which is certified by the Kundalini Research Institute (KRI) and is recognised internationally. I am also a member of the Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (KYTA) and International Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association (IKYTA). Driven by the need to be inclusive I completed further training to teach children and members of our community on the autism spectrum. I have had the pleasure of teaching seated yoga to elders in the West Indian and Turkish communities. I go into the work place and into schools sharing yoga techniques. I was invited to teach at community event in Lisbon, Portugal. Each year, I am delighted to host a Kundalini yoga retreat at Yuva , a family run Eco Retreat Centre in southwest Turkey.
