Ruth has been practicing Pilates for over 13 years, beginning when she trained as a contemporary dancer at Trinity Laban. Inspired by the benefits of Pilates that she experienced first hand, she trained at the central London YMCA; qualifying in Stott Pilates Matwork in 2010. Ruth continues to expand her professional development, having done additional post & pre-natal courses and specialist training on the pelvic floor. Teaching several other fitness disciplines also, including Freestyle Fitness Yoga, Ruth uses all her skills and experiences to inform her teaching practice. Ruth is also a qualified Sports Massage Therapist, and advocates Pilates to everyone as the best tool to maintain a well- functioning and injury-free body. Her classes focus on improving core strength, balance, coordination and flexibility, and can be modified to suit all levels.
