With a background in history and anthropology which took her everywhere from New Delhi to Neolithic Naples, followed by a stint as an achy-backed pastry chef in countless more beautiful places, Amanda found pilates in order to realign her sore spine. It didn’t take long for it to embed itself in her sense of self and it’s also what brought her back to London so that she could train in a contemporary approach to the classical method with STOTT (mat and reformer). Amanda's abiding personal contemporary dance and yoga practices heavily influence all her classes, keeping them graceful and playful.
